Brookley's First Haircut

Marcie got tired of Brookley's hair getting all knotted up while we at the beach, so the day after we got home she took her to get her first haircut. Dad's actually been trying to get it cut for a while now but we were afraid she would lose her baby curls. We did lose the curls for now but we sure did end up with an awfully cute little girl. It actually makes her look older, which of course dad doesn't want to happen.

Bone Store Commercial

The commercial below is one that I came up with the concept for and is the first one with my advertising agency. The guy talking in Bob my boss and I'm the handsome hand pushing on the TempurPedic bed at the beginning and the one coming up on the inversion table if by chance you aren't able to tell.

Galley's on the Beach

For Father's Day weekend the "other Galley's" headed on down to California and invited us along. Granted we were already in California but not in Pismo Beach, so we decided to take them up on the offer. We had a lot of fun trying to catch waves on the beach and of course stay warm in the Pacific Ocean. Unfortunately we learned a day late that we should have put more sunscreen on. Between Gary's red feet, Garrison's red face and Dad's red head we made ketchup look like fry sauce. The kids also really enjoyed seeing "Uncle Tickles" again and hopefully he didn't get too tired of acting like Brookley really knows how to tickle. Of course as with all fun things, it came to an end all too quickly.

Hartland Christian Camp

Whenever we get to head up to the mountains it's a good day. On Sunday we headed up to Hartland Christian Camp. It's just a fun camp for groups to go and stay although they don't allow LDS groups stay there because they're not considered Christian. We just didn't tell them we were LDS while we were there so we could check out the area and play on their park. It's also not as curvy on the way up there so we didn't have to clean up any messes, so how could it not be a good day?

Oink Oink Zoo Pals

Last week on my day off we had to get some stuff done up in Fresno, so we decided while we were up there that we would go and visit the zoo. When we lived in Fresno Marcie had a season pass so Brookley has been several times but this was Evans first time. He sure did seem to enjoy it since every animal we looked at he would say "more, more," meaning more animals. Marcie also had the chance to be bard of the Bird show and had an owl fly at her. We probably won't go back for a while since it's a pretty ghetto zoo, but it's probably good to go at least once a year. Although we did have the opportunity to see some exotic prairie dogs.

New Wii

A little over a week ago we got a new Nintendo Wii. We actually got it for free basically through Dad doing some junk on the internet. All legal of course. Now were just waiting for the XBox 360. These pictures are of the kids wii's. That might sound bad but it's not, it's just a version of them on the game system. I was hoping the pictures would turn out better but I couldn't get the flash to work. We also went this week and got a Root Beer Float at Sonic. Dad being the genius that he is put us in the bathtub to make clean up that much easier. That's about all that happened this week, since we've already covered Memorial Day.
