Grammy & Grampy Visit

On Saturday we got a call from Grammy saying that since the weather was good in Vernal they decided to take a little road trip and come down and see us. Since we weren't able to get Rhonda's Expedition the last time we visited we had them invite Aunt Michele along to drive it down. They weren't able to stay very long but we had a good time none the less and the kids absolutely love seeing Grammy and Grampy. We did get to go up to the National Christmas Tree in Sequoia National Park though before they left.

Sequoia in the Fall

On Sunday we decided that we hadn't used our yearly pass to Sequoia National Park enough this year so we headed on up. It turned out to be a beautiful day with really good weather. The greatest thing about going up there right now is that the leaves are starting to change. Of course it doesn't compare to Sundance but it'll do. I guess the next time will probably be in the snow so stay tuned.

Enchantment of the Seas

While we did do a lot while on land we did even more on the cruise ship, so I thought we should probably add a few of those pictures. The best thing of being on the boat was all the food and the fact that we didn't have to look at the prices of the dishes before we decided what to order. Also the waiters Ajay, Sebastian and Bradley were fun to see each night. Then it was also fun or a challenge trying to figure out where exactly you were on the ship.

Belize City

I published a couple of pictures from a Belize a couple of weeks ago but I didn't get to up the excursion pictures. Since Belize has the world's second largest barrier reef, we couldn't avoid doing some snorkeling. The catamaran took us to us to a little Island about twenty miles from the city call Rendevous Caye. It's so nice to actually be able to get into some warm ocean water since the beaches we go to here in California are so freezing. Just ask the other Galley's if you don't believe us. Now we just hope to be able to go back some day and do some actual scuba diving.

Cozumel, Mexico

The second stop on the cruise was in Cozumel. Marcie is a big lover of horses so we decided to do some horseback riding with Brandon, Brynn and Maria. Our guide was Carlos and our horses were Rambo and Lucero (renamed Lupe by Marcie). We saw a lot of Iguana which seemed exciting but our guide wasn't quite as interested considering it's like squirrels or chipmunks. The riding didn't take all day so we had a chance to head to downtown for a little bit to do some shopping.

Key West Cruise

I've been meaning to do this for a little while now but finally found time. Last week we were house sitting so I didn't get a chance to do this. The first stop on the Cruise was in Key West. There really isn't a lot there, but we tried to make the best of it. We did get a chance to make it to the southern most point in the continental United States. You might not think that is much but I doubt you've had a chance to do that. Then of course since Key West is pretty famous for their Key Lim Pie, I had to stop by the Blond Giraffe and eat some frozen Key lime pie. It was really good but messy.
