New Undies

While Mom and Dad have been trying to avoid this, I guess it's time for Evan to get potty trained. It will save some money on diapers but it sure is nice only change a diaper two or three times a day. To help Evan get ready for this big step, he got some new Mickey Mouse underwear. I guess he used to the confinements of the diaper because he insisted on wearing all three pairs.

Yet Another Disney Trip

Dads Disneyland pass expired on the 13th, so we thought we should head on down to make sure we got our money's worth out of it. We also decided to take Derek and Zach along since they also have season passes. It also didn't hurt that Derek gives the adults a riding partner on the big rides. Brookley would love to go on the big rides with Mom & Dad also but she just isn't tall enough yet. It was a really long day since we went down and back the same day but we sure did have a good time.

Ladybug Snow

It had been a while since we had been to the mountains but even longer since we had seen any snow so this week on Dad's day off we decided to head up to Ladybug. We actually just though we might see some ladybugs and salamanders but we soon found out that all the rain down in the valley turned into snow up in the mountains. Fortunately we now have the Expedition now so we were able to make it all the way. The kids really enjoyed it as long as their hands were in their pockets. We even avoided anybody getting car sick.

Stapled Head

Last Sunday I gave Brookley a piggy back ride and then she thought it would be fun to give Evan one also. Unfortunately Evan weighs about the same so she doesn't quite have the strength to life him up. Then Brookley being Brookley fell and cracked her head open on the corner of a table. When we went to get her head stapled she was such a sport in that she didn't even cry when the stapled it. I've included a picture somewhat but it didn't turn out very well.
