We were wondering how we could let everybody know about Evan's misadventure and then we remembered that we have a blog. At least we're sure everybody figured we must have forgotten about our blog since we haven't updated for a while. Anyway, back to Evan. On Friday he sat down to eat a pancake dinner and then let out a painful scream. When he went to Mommy she could tell immediately that he had broken his arm, since it looked like a rubbery chicken arm. We guess he fell off the stool and just landed wrong. He actually did great in the ER considering it took three hours to get his arm set. He even won the hearts of the nurses with his dashing looks and toughness. The only time Evan cried was when they gave him an IV and then set his arm. Dad can't stomach broken bones too well so he left the room when the arm was set, but Mommy was wishing that she would have. Right now Evan is in a splint but will get a hard cast next week.
P.S. If you would like to see a picture of the Broken arm just e-mail Dad at chadgalley@gmail.com. Warning though it's not for the faint of heart. Actually it's not that bad but it is obviously broken.
