Blain Tree House

Tonight Grandpa Brookhouser's friend, Brian Blain, had a party for the tree house he finally finished and put up on an old stump. Brian has been working on it for about two years now so either he put a lot of work into it or he just took his time. Actually we think it was a little of both. It is a pretty amazing tree house, in fact probably the coolest one we've ever seen. The kids were a little scared to go up at first since it was pretty high and the ladder was pretty steep but once they got used to it we had a hard time getting them to leave. Also, Grandpa's bluegrass band, County Line Road, played a little music. We know that Grammy would have loved it but unfortunately she lives a little too far away to make it.

Brookhouser's at the Beach

Since the Vongsawad's had come down for the holiday the Brookhouser squad thought it would be fun to go to the beach for a quick trip. Dad had to work so he didn't get to go but the family still had fun without him. Of course the water is still freezing but when you want to have fun you look past the cold.

4th of July

We finally got our internet fixed so we have quite a few posts to show. We'll start out with the 4th of July though. As with the last several Independence Days we spent it at the Brookhouser's. It was a day of swimming, eating and of course fireworks. I guess fortunately the kids were afraid of the fireworks and Evan took charge of handing out the sparklers. Also don't worry we weren't really burning Brookley with the sparkler

Game On

We figured that while we're waiting for the internet to get up and going that we will try what The Other Galley's are doing and see what memories you have of us.

Moved and No Internet

If you look at this regularly and wonder why we aren't putting anything up it's because we moved and of course with any move it never is very easy to get everything switched over. As of now the most recent time available to get somebody to come and look at our internet is next Thursday, so until then we apologize to those who can't wait to see what is happening in out lifes.
