Marcie's Birthday

Instead of spending time with her husband and kids, Marcie thought she would like to go to Disneyland on an all girl's trip including her mom and sisters. It almost got canceled because the night before she headed to Anaheim, we had to take Brookley to the ER because she had a fierce fever and was hysterical and we didn't want to risk anything. I guess 2 a.m. is the best time to go because it only took them two hours to get back to the house. After doing a chest x-ray they discovered that Brookley has pretty severe pneumonia. We figured, why not, since if there is something that go wrong Brookley is usually the first to step in line. The next day she was fine so I told Marcie to go to Disneyland because there was nothing she could do for Brookley back at home. She did have a good time and Dad enjoyed spending some good time with the kids. I hope they felt the same.
