Of course with any broken arm comes a hard cast and Evan's arm was no exception. We had hoped to be able to get it casted in Visalia, but nobody seemed to want to do it here so we had to go up to Valley Children's Hospital in Fresno. On the way we stopped in Traver at the Bravo cheese factory, so that is why we threw in the picture with the cheese hats. After it was all finished we were happy we went there because they did a great job of casting it. Especially since they added a little hook to use as a sling since a real sling is a real pain. Any parent who has ever had a child in a sling knows what we're talking about since the arm keeps slipping out. The cast also got strips since Mom wanted a blue and Dad wanted a glow-in-the-dark cast. While I believe Rhett and Marty have the record for broken arms, Evan is off to a quick start to possibly break the record.
