We normally celebrate Evan's birthday on December 2nd since that was the day he was born, but this year we celebrated on November 30th. The reason we did that is because we're cheap and we thought this way we can celebrate Hadlee's blessing and Evan's birthday and only have to pay for one meal. While me might be cheap the real reason was because Grammy and Grampy were in town and we thought it would be fun for them to celebrate it with us since they've never had the chance. Evan didn't get anything too big but he was excited to get his two favorite movies "Toy Story 2"(He has a little crush on Jessie) and "Kung Fu Panda." The saddest part about Evan's birthday was that Grammy and Grampy had to leave right after and that made Evan cry. I was cute how sincere he was that he didn't want them to leave. He even cried the next day and kept saying that we needed to go to Utah now and see them. It's amazing how much a child can love their grandparents that they only see a few days a year.
